Karma Ki's Constant Chaos
Meet Chaos! He was purchased from breeder Nancy Bowen-King of Karma Ki Akitas. This is not the best picture - lol! - but Chaos was as close to my ideal Akita, type-wise, that I have had. He had a gorgeous head, beautiful coat, small thick ears and incredible substance. Unfortunately, Chaos had a less-than desirable temperament. While he was very affectionate with my husband and myself, he was extremely unpredictable with strangers and fearful and shy in new situations, to the point of being a "fear-biter". The decision was made with his breeder that he should be neutered, we couldn't take a chance of passing on that temperament. Despite our efforts at working with trainers and behaviorists, his condition worsened, and the heart-breaking decision was made to euthanize him. We still miss our "Bubba", and I hope someday to breed a boy just as gorgeous, but with that all important stable temperament.
