Meet Kismet, Kassai Akitas' little energizer bunny! Kismet came to us at 8 weeks old, courtesy of breeder and co-owner Don Cross of Dozak Akitas, and co-breeder Pat Ellis of Mount Joy Akitas. Kismet is a blast in the ring! She has that "look at me attitude" and loves to show because she knows that means she gets special goodies; the judges seem to love her typey profile and beautiful sidegait. She had quite the show "career", starting as a baby with two Bests in Match, going on to win Best In Sweepstakes at the 2007 Akita Club of America National Specialty (handled by my good friend Julie Mayes of Kokoro Akitas), and three, four and five point majors under three different judges! Kismet was owner-handled for all of her points. We can't thank Don Cross and Pat Ellis enough for sending us such a special puppy! We're just crazy about our little Peanut! Kismet is OFA Excellent, CERF clear and Thyroid normal.
